UNIPR e Università il 10 agosto a Superquark le ricerche sui resti di Alessandro Farnese, un “cold case” lungo 400 anni

Parma – Le indagini storico-scientifiche sui resti del #Duca di Parma #Alessandro-Farnese e della moglie Maria D’Aviz, svolte da un team multidisciplinare coordinato da Università di Parma e RIS-Reparto Investigazioni Scientifiche dei Carabinieri, saranno protagoniste della puntata del 10 agosto di #Superquark, su Rai Uno.

Nel corso della puntata saranno intervistate Rossana Cecchi , docente di Medicina legale all’Università di Parma, l’odontoiatra Marianna Peracchia del Dipartimento di Medicina e Chirurgia dell’Università e la tossicologa del RIS Giada Furlan.

Dalle ricerche sui resti di Alessandro Farnese e Maria D’Aviz, conservati nella cripta della Chiesa di Santa Maria della Steccata, è scaturito il volume Alessandro Farnese – Il corpo del potere, un caso irrisolto del Rinascimento, curato da Rossana Cecchi e recentemente pubblicato dall’Ordine Costantiniano di San Giorgio, che di fatto prova a risolvere una sorta di “cold case” lungo 400 anni (il mistero della morte di Alessandro, per il quale si è a lungo sospettato un avvelenamento) facendo riaffiorare innumerevoli e in parte inaspettati particolari della vita del Duca e della moglie attraverso il coinvolgimento competenze storiche, artistiche e scientifiche forensi.
